Anxiety, Trauma & Mental Health
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in their thoughts, or exhausted from constantly holding it together. You may experience racing thoughts, intrusive memories, difficulty focusing, emotional numbness, or a persistent sense of dread. I work with individuals navigating: - Anxiety and chronic stress - Depression and mood changes - PTSD and unresolved trauma - OCD and intrusive thoughts - ADHD-related challenges - Burnout and nervous system overwhelm - Perfectionism, shame, and struggles with self-worth - Chronic pain connected to stress or trauma For clients processing trauma, I offer EMDR therapy — a structured, research-supported approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing experiences so they no longer feel as overwhelming in the present. Therapy can help you feel calmer, more grounded, and more in control of your inner world.
Perinatal & Faith-Based Counseling
The seasons of infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood can bring both deep joy and unexpected emotional challenges. These transitions often affect identity, relationships, and mental health in profound ways. I work with women navigating: - Infertility and reproductive challenges - Pregnancy-related anxiety or depression - Birth trauma - Postpartum mood concerns - Pregnancy or infant loss For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian counseling that thoughtfully integrates faith into the therapeutic process. This includes support for: - Church trauma - Spiritual confusion or deconstruction - Integrating faith and mental health - Processing faith-related shame or pressure Faith can be a source of comfort and sometimes pain. Therapy provides a safe space to explore both with honesty and care.
Relationships & Life Transitions
Our relationships shape how we see ourselves and the world. Many patterns in adulthood are rooted in early attachment experiences or family dynamics that we never had the space to process. I support clients working through: - Attachment wounds and insecurity in relationships - Co-dependency and overfunctioning - Family of origin concerns - Setting and maintaining boundaries - Relational conflict - Premarital counseling - Marriage, divorce, or relationship transitions - Career changes and major life shifts - Parenthood and identity changes - Grief and loss Whether you are preparing for marriage, healing from a breakup, or redefining yourself during a major life transition, therapy offers space to understand your patterns and build healthier, more secure connections.
